Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery, 134 S. Montezuma, 776-7717. Local Hopi artist Filmer Kewanyama will be presenting "Cowboys and Indians" until April 24.

Beastro, 117 N. McCormick St. 227-2796. Artisan jewelry, art and more are available for purchase. All proceeds go to help animals at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue.

Ben's Fine Art Gallery, 212 W. Gurley St., 420-0704. The gallery celebrates its one-year anniversary today with a ribbon cutting at noon.

Bronzesmith Fine Art Gallery and Foundry, 7331 E. 2nd St., Prescott Valley, 772-2378. The public is welcome to visit the foundry and see the 10-foot clay sculpture of the Arizona Centennial monument "Not-So-Gentle-Tamer." Gallery hours are 9 am. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Foundry tours are available by appointment at 11 a.m. on Thursdays for $10 per person.

The Gallery at the Prescott Center for the Arts, 208 Marina St., 445-3286, The Youth Scholarship Exibit, featuring a wide array of artistic styles and media by Prescott middle and high school art students, runs until April 30.

Mountain Artists Guild & Gallery, 228 N. Alarcon St., 776-4009. The "Points of View" exhibit, including gourd art by Diana Blochberger, will be in the Spotlight Room until April 18. "New Beginnings," featuring more than 40 artists, runs in the main gallery through June 28, with an artists' reception from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on April 26. The guild is now accepting applications for the 6th annual Prescott Area Artists' Studio Tour, which will take place Oct. 4, 5 and 6. The tour is open to all artists in the quad-city area. Applications for the juried show will be accepted until April 5. The entry fee is $150. Applications are available at the gallery or on

Phippen Museum of Western Art, 4701 Highway 89 North, 778-1385, "Early West Storyteller," an exhibit that offers visitors a visual journey through the American West, runs until July 7.

The Raven Café, 142 N. Cortez St., 717-0009. "His and Hers" two-person art exhibit, featuring paintings by Keith Sanders and Marianne Vieregg, is on exhibit until May 4.

The Smoki Museum of American Indian Art and Culture, 147 N. Arizona Ave., 445-1230. "Arizona's Son: The Photography of Barry Goldwater," runs through April 28. Mata Ortiz Show and Sale, featuring potters Lucy Mora and Lorenso Bgarini, begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Straight Arrow Studios and Gallery, 1724 Willow Creek Road, 925-4970. Works by Everett Davidson.

'Tis Art Center and Gallery, 105 S. Cortez St., 775-0223, Cindy Lou's Health Care Benefit Show has been extended until Saturday. Proceeds from sales of fundraiser items will be given to Cindy Myers to help with her healthcare costs in her battle with cancer. "Broad Strokes," an exhibition of six women artists' works, runs in the mezzanine gallery until Saturday. "A Pear Is a Pear Is a?," featuring paintings and ceramics by Barbara Darr, runs April 16 to May 13, with an artist's reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 26 during the 4th Friday Art Walk. A show featuring contemporary work by Prescott-area artists runs until April 23.
