Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery, 134 S. Montezuma, 776-7717.

"From Scrapyard to Masterpiece - One Artist's Journey," featuring the works of metal artist Tom Williams, will be on exhibit from today through Jan. 24, 2013, with an artist's reception from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Beastro, 117 N. McCormick St. 227-2796. Artisan jewelry, art and more are available for purchase. All proceeds go to help rescued animals at Wildhorse Ranch Rescue.

Ben's Fine Art Gallery, 212 W. Gurley St., 420-0704. Jazz musician Ed Cornett will entertain from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. during the 4th Friday Art Walk today, playing keyboard and trumpet, with a backdrop of arrangements he created himself. Another evening highlight will be catering by Gourmet the Healthy Way.

The Gallery at the Prescott Center for the Arts, 208 Marina St., 445-3286, www.pca-az.net. "The Nobility of Nature," a multi-media show featuring nature scenes inspired by desert and mountain vistas of the American Southwest, the Midwest plains and other areas of the country and world will be on exhibit from Jan. 4 until Feb. 16, with an opening reception and refreshments from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan 4. On Jan. 25, Larry Acker, vocalist and guitarist, will play from 5 to 7 p.m. during the 4th Friday Art Walk.

Jerome Artist Coooperative Gallery, 502 Main St., 928-639-4276. "Envisioned Realism," featuring works of Prescott artist Bernie Lopez will be on display from Jan. 3 to Feb. 28, with an opening reception at 6 p.m. on Jan. 5.

Miller Valley Indoor Art Market, 531 Madison Ave., 237-9282. Martin Sullivan's photos now on exhibit, displaying his photo montages that "are a magical mix of images layered atop landscapes of dreams."

Mountain Artists Guild & Gallery, 228 N. Alarcon St., 776-4009. The guild plans its annual "Workshop Wonders," featuring works of artists who participated in 2012 guild workshops, from Jan. 17-Feb. 14 in the Spotlight Room. The cost per exhibiting artist is $20. Applications are available at the gallery or on its website, www.mountainartistsguild.org. An artists' reception will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23.

Mountain Spirit Gallery, 140 S. Montezuma St. 445-2886. Specializes in oil paintings, bronze sculpture and photography.

Phippen Museum of Western Art, 4701 Highway 89 North, 778-1385, www.phippenartmuseum.org. "Through Navajo Eyes," showcasing Navajo baskets and pottery from the 1900s through the 1950s, will be on exhibit through Feb. 7.

Prescott College Art Gallery at Sam Hill Warehouse, 232 N. Granite St., 928-350-2341.

Prescott Valley Art Guild, 3380 N. Windsong Road (Good Samaritan Center), 775-4989. Featured artists are Paulette Bedford, Carol Holloway, Mei-June Liao and Florence Muscara, whose works feature oils, pastels, watercolor and mixed media. The exhibit runs through mid-January 2013.

The Raven Café, 142 N. Cortez St., 717-0009. "Dazzl' Dolls," featuring Jacque Laliberte drawings, through February.

The Smoki Museum of American Indian Art and Culture, 147 N. Arizona Ave., 445-1230. "Yoimasa, the Art of Fil Kewanyama," on exhibit through the end of the year. Like many Indian artists, Fil brings his cultural heritage to life in his paintings, many of which will be for sale during the show. "Arizona's Son: The Photography of Barry Goldwater" opens at 1 p.m. Jan. 12.

Straight Arrow Studios and Gallery, 1724 Willow Creek Road, 925-4970. Works by Everett Davidson.

'Tis Art Center and Gallery, 105 S. Cortez St., 775-0223, www.tisartgallery.com. "On the New Year's Cusp Photography Show" on exhibit until Jan. 22, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. today. STEPS Children's Art Show, showcasing the work of 26 students who participated in the 'Tis free after-school art education program, runs Jan. 2-14 in the mezzanine gallery, with an artists' reception from 2-4 p.m. on Jan. 5.

Van Gogh's Ear, 156 S. Montezuma St., 776-1080. Steven McCovney's latest creative ceramic works will be featured in his new "Imaginarium" series. from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight during the 4th Friday Art Walk.
