National Night Out Kickoff

Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza Prescott

It's a special concert and law enforcement event on the plaza, but don't freak out; it's actually a good thing. As part of the city's Summer Concert Series, local favorites Road 1 South will rock out and kick off an upcoming annual event, National Night Out, which takes place on Aug. 6. It's designed to raise crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood unity and spirit, and develop partnerships between law enforcement and the community. At the core of these programs is Neighborhood Watch - residents and business owners uniting with their law enforcement representatives to reduce crime.

Road 1 South's show will be tailored to highlight some of the many National Night Out activities including displays and information from various area law enforcement agencies, K9 deputies and their partners, special vehicle displays and more. It's a doubly good deal: a rockin' blues band and a chance to learn about community safety, so check it out!
