Arts Prescott Cooperative Gallery, 134 S. Montezuma, 776-7717. "Sign and Wonders," featuring the mixed media art of R.V. Lovelace runs from Sept. 27 to Oct. 23. An artist's reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 23.

Beastro, 117 N. McCormick St. 227-2796. Artisan jewelry, art and more are available for purchase. Proceeds help animals in need.

Ben's Fine Art Gallery, 212 W. Gurley St., 420-0704. New artists on exhibit include Scott Taft, John Baptista, K.L. Powers, Mary Landis and jeweler Linda Lee Pratico. The gallery is selling pendants by artist Natalie Krol honoring the Granite Mountain Hotshots. They are $75 each and 98 percent of the proceeds will go to Prescott Fire Fighters Charities. The gallery is taking orders now..

Bronzesmith Fine Art Gallery and Foundry, 7331 E. 2nd St., Prescott Valley, 772-2378. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Foundry tours are available by appointment at 11 a.m. on Thursdays for $10 per person.

The Gallery at the Prescott Center for the Arts, 208 Marina St., 445-3286, www.pca-az.net. "It's All Square," an exhibit of miniature to extravagantly large work framed in a square format, is on exhibit. A reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 27 during the 4th Friday Art Walk, with artists in attendance and music by Larry Aker.

Krieger-Marcusen Gallery, 110 S. Montezuma, Suite F, Hotel St. Michael's Alley, 778-4900. Featuring clay, paintings, jewelry, and wood by local artists Heath Krieger, Cathy Krieger and Richard Marcusen. New works by Steve Smith (wood) and plein air oil paintings by Bill Anton.

Mountain Artists Guild & Gallery, 228 N. Alarcon St., 776-4009. "Prescott Masters Present," new works by local and nationally acclaimed artists, including Betty Carr, David Harlan, Pat Lambrecht-Hould, Douglas Miley, Doug Oliver, Dorothy Ray and G. Eric Slayton, runs through November. A new show in the main gallery, "Capture the Summer," features "Best of Show" artist Cynthia Gibson-Owens' "The Guardian" scratch art; first-place artist Barbara Darr's "Abstract I," mixed media; second-place artist Michele Turney's "Pottery in Red," pastel; and third-place artist Andress Brewster's"Burst of Spring," clay and steel. The show runs until Sept. 28.

Mountain Spirit Co-op Gallery, 140 S. Montezuma St. 445-2886. Oil paintings, bronze sculpture and photography. New member Martin Sullivan has opened his Studio Gallery in room 104, just down the hall from the co-op's main entrance.

Phippen Museum of Western Art, 4701 Highway 89 North, 778-1385, www.phippenartmuseum.org. The 22nd annual "Trappings of the West" exhibit, sponsored by the Dry Creek Arts Fellowship, features the works of 80 contemporary artists.

Prescott College Art Gallery at Sam Hill Warehouse, 232 N. Granite St., 350-2341. "Distinct Resemblance: Landscape Considered," featuring the works of late Prescott artist Rose Mary Mack, runs from Oct. 4 to Nov. 6. This is the first comprehensive display of the full array of Mack's works covering her lifetime in the arts. An opening reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 4. The public is welcome.

Prescott Valley Art Guild, 3386 N. Windsong Drive, 775-4989. The guild's exhibit at the Good Samaritan Center, 3380 N. Windsong Drive, features artists Cathy Severson, Florence Muscara, Bonetta Foshe, Carol Holloway, John Eckstadt and Donna Endresen who work in a variety of mediums. The show will run through mid-January. Other locations displaying guild artists' works until mid-January are Windsong Villas, 3386 N. Windsong Drive, and the Prickly Pear, corner of Robert and Florentine roads. For information, call Kay Demski at 775-4989.

Small Art Gallery, 115 E. Goodwin, Suite D in the Courtyard building, www.asmallartgallery.com. The new arts venue is showing the welded metal work of Stan Book, the clay figurative sculptures of Cathy Cowen, and paintings by owner Tony Reynolds. The exhibit runs through Sept. 30.

The Smoki Museum of American Indian Art and Culture, 147 N. Arizona Ave., 445-1230. "The Last of the Great Expeditions: The Summer of '34," a look at the Rainbow Bridge to Munument Valley expedition of 1934 is on exhibit.

Textiles + Textures Artisans Studio, 217 N. Cortez, 928-227-2659. An exhibit of Mary Bechtol florals and landscapes runs through Oct. 15.

'Tis Art Center and Gallery, 105 S. Cortez St., 775-0223, www.tisartgallery.com. In the main floor gallery:  2013 Summer Photography Show runs through Sept. 24.   "Landscapes to Abstracts, Abstracts to Landscapes: Indefinably Exciting Oil Paintings" by D. Stewart Moore on exhibit until Oct. 13. A reception for both shows will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 during the 4th Friday Art Walk.

Van Gogh's Ear, 156 S. Montezuma St., 776-1080. From 5 to 8 p.m. during the 4th Friday Art Walk on Sept. 27, the gallery will feature batik artist Katalin Ehling, who was born in Hungary and immigrated to the United States in 1950. She has been represented in print and galleries and published her own book, "Waxing Life." She will demonstrate her process for fabric painting in her impressionist style.
