13th annual Street Dance



It's Prescott's largest annual downtown party. Now in its 13th year, the huge street party attracts thousands to downtown. Last year's event was the biggest ever and this year just might be even be even bigger. Two dynamite bands, Los Guys from Tempe and Prescott's own Filabusta will be making the noise.

More than 35 different beers, full bars and multiple food vendors will be on hand.

It all goes down on Saturday, July 6. Gates open at 5 p.m. and admission is free!

The event is put on by Eagle Management and Events LLC. Sponsors include Hensley Beverage Company, Magic 99.1 FM, Great Circle Radio, Papa Johns Pizza and Affinity RV.

PRESCOTT CENTER FOR THE ARTS. 208 N. Marina St., Prescott, 445-3286. June 28-29, 7:30 pm: "The Producers," By Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, directed by Catherine Miller-Hahn. Max Bialystock, a once great Broadway producer, grabs Leo Bloom, his accountant, to produce the biggest flop possible and make a million bucks for each of them. But "Springtime for Hitler" turns out to be a smash, threatening to send the two of them to jail. Featuring a zany cast of characters from the hilarious mind of Mel Brooks. Tickets: $13-$22.



SPECIAL EVENT

SHARLOT HALL MUSEUM, 415 W. Gurley St., Prescott., 445-3122. Saturday, June 29, 4-8 p.m.: Prescott Crush: 99 Bottles of Wine at the Hall: A wine-tasting fundraiser to benefit the museum. The event will feature no less than 99 different wines from major distributors from around the state. Local, regional and national wines will be featured. Action Wines, Alacantara, Oak Creek, Pillsbury, Young's Market and many others. Hensley Beverage Company will also be offering two hand-crafted beers, and bottled water for teetotalers or those wishing to cleanse the palate between tastings.

Food offerings will include appetizers from Dizzy's Deli and Goodie Shop, Papa John's Pizza and Prescott Lobster and Seafood Company.

Musical guests Kenny James and Tracy Cripps will be on hand to set the party mood for the occasion. Prescott Crush will mark Cripps' last performance before she moves to Phoenix.

Funding from this event will assist the Museum with many projects emphasizing Prescott's and Yavapai County's upcoming 150th anniversaries.

Tickets: $20 for 10 samples or $10 for four samples.

The first 200 guests will also receive a commemorative wine goblet.
